    The Betfair affiliate programme allows you to promote our product(s) on your website.

    When you become a Betfair affiliate you are assigned a unique affiliate ID. Our state of the art technology allows us to track every user who registers with Betfair and places money on our product(s) from your site. When you select links and banners from our Media Gallery, your relevant ID will be built into the code, allowing us to track all of your customers who click on it.

  • What kind of support do you provide?

    We offer full support to all our affiliates via email. We are also available to meet in person at the affiliate conferences.

  • What Products form the Games Affiliate Programme?

    Our Games Product is made up of Casino, Bingo and Poker.

  • How long does it take for you to review my affiliate application?

    Affiliate applications usually take between 1-2 weeks to get approved. If your application has not been reviewed after 2 weeks, kindly contact partnerships.payments@betfair.com. If you are accepted onto the programme, you can start referring customers immediately by listing our banners or text links on your site.

  • Can I register more than one website?

    Yes, when logged into your affiliate account you can add multiple websites by adding a new Marketing Source in the My Account section. You will receive individual tracking links for each site so you can track their performance.

  • What does the Affiliate Programme website provide?

    Our affiliates have access to a wide range of marketing tools that can be used to promote Betfair across all of our products, and in multiple languages. You will also have access to a range of comprehensive reports to measure the performance of your campaigns.

  • I operate more than one website. Can I promote you on each?

    Yes, you can add multiple sites to your Betfair account. Our tracking allows you to monitor each site's performance individually.

  • How do I add multiple websites to my account?

    Once you have already joined the affiliate programme, you can sign into your account, and under the "My Account" dropdown, select "Marketing Sources" and then you can add an additional marketing source for each URL. Each additional URL will be allocated a unique tracking ID.

  • Why would I not be accepted as an affiliate?

    Your site will be rejected if it contains topics that we see as being detrimental to our brand. However, if possible we will try and provide feedback on our decision. We require affiliates to have a live website before acceptance - if your site is in development, please contact us after making your application with information about your website.

  • Can I have access to your live odds feed?

    We offer affiliates complimentary access to our XML odds feed. Please email partnerships.payments@betfair.com for further information.

  • I forgot my password. How do I access my account?

    Please click the login button and then "Forgot your username or password?"

  • How do I change my password?

    Log into your account and go to the "My Account" dropdown, then "User Accounts" and click the edit button for the username for which you would like to change the password.

  • How do I change my account information?

    Simply log into your account and go to the "My Account" dropdown and select "Account Details" to change your information.

  • Why is my account locked?

    If your account is locked, please contact your account manager to unlock it for you. Usually this occurs with too many failed password attempts.

  • What payment methods does your affiliate programme support?

    Affiliates can be paid by Bank Wire Transfer (not including money transfer services/applications), Skrill (Moneybookers) and Neteller.

  • Is there a minimum amount before I get paid?

    You will need to generate a minimum of £50 in commission before we process your affiliate payment. Balances under £50 will be accrued until the threshold has been met. This minimum threshold can be increased at your request.

  • What currencies can affiliates receive payments in?

    All affiliate commission payments are processed in GBP and EUR.

  • Do I need to tell you that I am tax registered?

    If your business is tax registered you must state this on your application form when applying to become an affiliate.

  • When will I be paid?

    Affiliates will be paid within 30 days of the end of the calendar month. Please allow an additional 30 days for your first payment and contact your account manager to set you up for payments on our internal system

  • Do I need to send an invoice?

    No, we pay affiliates via self-billing: Self-Billing is where we send you a statement showing you how much you have earned, raise an invoice on your behalf, and automatically send you your payment. All affiliates are paid through Self-Billing. If you have any questions about payment methods, please email us

  • How do I know if I have been paid?

    Close to the end of month, kindly check your payment report and check if the payments for the previous month were paid out.

  • How can I check how much I will get paid?

    You can log into your account at any time to view how much you will be paid and how much you have been paid for previous months. Navigate to Reports> Payment Reports> Payments

  • What happens when you add new products, do I still earn commission from them?

    Yes, you do. However, commission is only calculated for customers who have registered on or after the date that the new product has been launched on the affiliate programme

  • Are there any costs in joining the programme?

    No, our affiliate programme is free to join.

  • Can I change my method of payment?

    Of course, please login and go to the "My Account" dropdown and select "Payment Information", where you can edit your payment details. Kindly change this before the first week of the following month for it to be changed in time for next payment.

  • Can I have my commission paid into my betting account?

    No, due to tax and VAT reasons we are not able to do this. All commission will be paid using your selected method of payment.

  • My chosen currency is sterling but I have earned commission in euro, what happens?

    The Euro commission will be converted to Sterling at the end of the month and you will be paid in your chosen currency.

  • Where do I update my bank details?

    Once you have been approved as an affiliate, please login and go to the "My Account" dropdown and select "Payment Information", where you can edit your payment details.

  • What is an IBAN?

    IBAN is short for "International Bank Account Number" and is used for international bank transfers - The IBAN is made up of your country code, check digits, bank identifier code, bank branch code and account number.

  • Where do I find my IBAN?

    Your IBAN is usually found on your bank statement. If not, contact your bank branch and they will be able to tell you.

  • What is the BIC?

    BIC is short for "Bank Identifier Code". A BIC is the unique identification code of a particular bank. These codes are used when transferring money between banks, particularly for international wire transfers.

  • Where do I find my BIC?

    Your BIC is usually found on your bank statement. If not, contact your bank branch and they will be able to tell you

  • What is a SWIFT code?

    A SWIFT code is the same thing as a BIC code. The reason, if you're really interested, is because The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) handles the registration of the Bank Identifier Codes, which is why it is sometimes referred to as the BIC or the SWIFT code, but they are the same thing

  • May I use your logo and content on my website?

    Once you are a registered affiliate, you will have access to a wide range of marketing material including Betfair logos and a large database of banners. You must not alter or create your own banners without the permission of Betfair. All sites displaying Betfair links or content must be registered within the Affiliate Programme website.

  • Do you accept all websites?

    We review each application individually and evaluate whether or not we deem its nature or content suitable to represent the Betfair brand.

  • Can I use your content on my site?

    Yes, you can take copy from our site (just include a link back to the page on the Betfair website).

  • Where can I learn and take action on Safer Gaming?

    As a partner of Paddy Power Betfair it is your responsibility to market our brands on our behalf but also adapt our commitment to Safer Gambling. We have a dedicated page here.

  • What advertising am I allowed to do on behalf of you?

    You are allowed to do Online Advertising including Industry Relevant Expertise, Niche Websites, Personal Websites, Comparison Websites, Video Blogs and Web blogs, PPC search campaigns, Loyalty & Reward Sites, RSS Feeds, Opt-in Email Marketing Campaigns (subject to you having the requisite consent to send such marketing communications), and Social Media marketing. You must request permission prior to implementing any method outside of the foregoing. It is not permitted to bid on our branded PPC terms. It is not permitted to create mobile applications that purport to be from Betfair.

  • How does Betfair know that someone has registered via my site?

    Your affiliate account has a unique Affiliate ID, which is used to identify when you have referred a customer to us. When a player clicks through to Betfair via one of your links, a cookie is dropped on their browser. This cookie contains your Affiliate ID. When that player registers for an account with Betfair, you will be credited with the referral.

  • How long is the cookie duration?

    The cookie duration is 45 days. This means that a referred player could navigate away from Betfair and providing that they return within 45 days, they will still be credited to your Affiliate Account.

  • How can I get access to banners and marketing tools?

    We supply a large selection of creative - banners and text links. All you need to do is log into your affiliate account and go to the "Media" dropdown and select "Media Gallery".

  • Where can I get codes for banners?

    When you go to the Media Gallery, you can press the "Get Code" button for the banner that you would like to display. This will include your unique tracking link

  • How do I add a banner to my site?

    You can take the code for the banner as described above, and add it to your site. If your website does not use iFrames, you can use standard image codes to display any of our .gif banners and set the destination URL as a text link, which you can get from our Media Gallery.

  • Do you host banners?

    Yes, we host all of our banners.

  • How often are your personal affiliate statistics updated?

    Views and clicks data will be updated close to real-time. All other stats are updated a day in arrears.

  • Can I request special size / content banners?

    Yes, however due to limited design resources we approach all requests on a case by case basis. All you have to do is contact us with all the relevant details e.g design and size required.

  • How can I deep link into specific markets?

    All you need to do is get the url of the page you would like to link to and add your affiliate id. See the example below: http://www.betfair.com/football?AFF_ID=123456, where 123456 is replaced by your unique Affiliate ID. We have some deep links available within the Media Gallery, and would recommend using these if available so that they are optimised for mobile devices. If you would like to link to a popular page on site that a link is not available for in the Media Gallery, please contact us and we can create a link that is optimised for all devices.
